Tombstone | Late Night Snack Movie of the Week

That childhood fantasy of the Wild West lives in many of us, with visions of gunfights and poker games in saloons instantly coming to mind when the subject comes up. Tombstone serves as one of the best depictions of the time period, even if it takes several liberties with the source material.

It's still Hollywood, folks.

You can catch the classic on Pluto for free HERE.

Tombstone Chili

While you watch, have a bowl of chili. If you can, go to Costco and get that three-pack of ground beef. Put two in the freezer and the other into this awesomeness-in-a-bowl. You'll need at least a lb of meat, either way.

Brown that meat, drain it, then add in roughly 3 cloves of minced garlic, 1-2 well diced bell peppers, 2 chopped up fresh jalapenos, 2 cans of drained black beans, a can of crushed tomatoes, a can of diced tomatoes, 1 cup of beef broth, 1 tbsp of chili powder, 1/2 tbsp of cumin, 1/2 tsp of paprika, 1/2 tsp of oregano, 1/2 tsp of brown sugar, and a tbsp of vegetable oil. Salt and pepper to taste. Let it simmer for about 30-minutes or so and adjust seasoning as needed.

Grab some crackers or something and a big spoon and then chow down and enjoy this awesome flick!
