The latest from Mastodon is a moody, atmospheric slow burn through a dark forest full of sickened swamps and ancient trees. You'll equally be able to drift and drone through the album as much as you can dive deep and take it in fully in all of its' complexity. Due to the runtime, this does work well being split into parts if you cannot handle the full experience, though I'd urge listeners to ensure their first trek is a complete one.

Hushed and Grim is indeed an experience and one I urge fans to take.
