Cradle of Filth - Damnation and a Day | Record of the Week

The latest Record of the Week is the 17 track epic inspired, in part, by Paradise Lost. The Budapest Film Orchestra and Choir added nicely to the chaos, though it should be noted that this major label debut for the extreme metal titans is polarizing and considered by many to be too eager for its own good.

Considering it was the first release from the group that I had ever heard when I first stole a copy from a local shop back in high school, it's fair to say that I have some nostalgic loyalty to the CD. That aside, I still think it's worth a listen 20 years later and recommend that you give it a spin.

When you're done, watch some IT Crowd.
