Thoughts:
This year's tournament has had several enjoyable contests, despite the outcome being pretty predictable. Plus, Ishii was great once again, SANADA had a coming out party of sorts, and Sabre got to shine for a few rounds. We end things on a high note, too.
SANADA even being here was a nice sight and one of the few surprises of the tournament. These two put on a show, making a 30 minute match feel like a slow burning short film and nicely setting up the main event for the big MSG show. The LIJ standout might have lost, but he looked like a future champ in the process. Really, this was a fantastic contest.
Watch this one for sure.
