Hey, Gotham woke up!

Esther would connect with Lynn Williams in the second to open the gates. Twenty-minutes later, Chicago would even things up. In the final moments of the game, in the 90th to be exact, Ella Stevens sent Gotham ahead. It was a lead they'd maintain as Gotham would eventually take the W. The 2023 NWSL Champs have been average-at-best far too much of the year, so it was a nice sight.

Hopefully, this is when things actually get started for the club because mixed results all season will not get a repeat for them.
