The reigning champs had failed to win a single game in the four games preceding this one, including an away L to the Courage at the end of March. They finally turned things around a bit with an uneven victory against that same NC side thanks to an early Lynn Williams goal. They head to Houston for a Wednesday game next. That SHOULD be an easy win, but Gotham have been a major let down so far in the season and nothing is certain.
