Across two legs, Cruz Azul managed only a single goal to América's two. It was a wild ride to the finals, and the league continues to bring sports entertainment to the game, but a disappointing result regardless. The club will now go back to being ignored in all discussions, outside of talks of revived curses, but in all there's a promise of upward movement made here that I'm hoping is backed up!
Cruz Azul returns for Leagues Cup play at the end of July.
