Boeheim dips out after 47

Syracuse's Boeheim, a man so tied in with the school that it seemed destined that the two would just turn to stone simultaneously one day, will not return after the men's basketball side dropped in the ACC tournament to Wake Forest. The squad finished just a hair over 500 with a 17-15 (10-10 con.) record. Despite the uneven end, it's hard not to agree with any praise given to the coach over the decades and he truly is responsible for putting the team on the map through his work ethic and strategic approach. 

35 tournament appearances, five Final Four trips, and the whole damn thing came home to 'Cuse in 2003.
