I wasn't expecting this, but I'm also not surprised to hear that one of the most creative black metal bands in the game have changed their style drastically. They've proven time and time again that the music that they make is the music that they want to make. They hold the brush and this is just their latest painting.
Infinite Granite is a near-masterpiece and the talent level on display alone makes this wall of sound one of the best albums of 2021.
