Atreyu: Baptize Review

It's been many years since I've listened to an Atreyu record and even more since I sincerely enjoyed the experience of a new release from the group.

Their latest is full of wrestling entrance themes and general arena rock tracks. I admittedly never felt that Baptize offered much in the way of true effort, though. This felt far more like a band phoning it in and just looking for an easy paycheck, and that perceived insincerity kept me from being able to consider this as anything more than a good-yet-skippable offering.

If I'm way off base and they were truly trying here, I apologize. I still didn't love it.
