1.CMLL Welterweight Title: Mephisto(c) vs Dragon Lee ***3/4
Thoughts:
Sure, the titles in CMLL don't mean much but we do get a few really good title defenses each year from overachieving roster members. This is one of those.
Middle-aged Mephisto stepped up here, and Dragon Lee was good as usual. This was simply fun, and a great overall contest. Dragon Lee is also the Lightweight Champ, because the divisions are meaningless. He actually buried this win a bit in his interview after, saying he only cares about the IWGP Junior title that he is competing for at G1 Supercard, but it is what it is.
