Thoughts:
When CMLL announced monthly big shows, I was cautiously optimistic. I admit that this card did little for me, but I was still hopeful for at least a little bit of fun. Luckily, I got more than I expected.

The opener went way above and beyond the level I thought it would, turning into a sincerely enjoyable trios contest. Even Kawato looked good for once. I think this format and pacing would be the best choice going forward for openers, but I know that's asking for too much. Watch this one.

The second match, on the other hand, was disappointing. It had some good moments and was far from being actually bad, but it also just felt off and phoned in more often than not.

My MOTN came next. I was hoping this would be good, but didn't ever think it'd be this good. When I tell newcomers to lucha libre that Virus is one of the best, they usually don't believe me. This showed the world that I am right and that Virus still has it when he wants to. This was also the best Metalico match I've ever seen. Everything worked and the drama was top notch. They did get winded in the middle but the hot open and nice finish keep it rated high. Go out of your way to see this one!

Our next apuesta went better than I thought it would, too. The third fall in particular pushed this into "good" territory, even if it's still nothing you really need to rush and see.

The sole championship match of the show underwhelmed. The right team won, but there was very little chemistry and even the Guerreros couldn't turn it into anything truly worth seeing. At least future matches for the belts should be good.

So much blue.....

The semi was a good, though meaningless, sprint. Inoffensive fun.

The main event went about how I expected it would, though the seconds helped add a touch of excitement. The attack after by NGD was honestly the best thing about this one, and I hope that is a tease for future matches.

At least the crowd seemed to be happy with the quality on that one.

This isn't an amazing show by any means, but it was better than expected and featured two recommendable matches. Give those two a shot and consider picking a few others if you want.

Overall Rating: 70/100%
