There's a lot of good shit going on this week in wrestling! With Emergence and All In coming up soon, TNA and AEW were selling hard. WWE meanwhile was a bit more chill in a way, but also featured some great title matches that felt like mini-PPV main events all week. Props to them. Both DG and STARDOM also had great content for us. Here's a recap of the week that was with only the best of the best offered up.
RAW
CM Cunt was in a segment with Drew
Sami and Bron main evented the show in a 2/3 falls match for the Intercontinental Championship. It was pretty damn good and easily the one match from the show you should consider making time for.
We are STARDOM!!
This one includes:
-A look at Mayu's IWGP Women's Title defense against Tsukasa Fujimoto in Ice Ribbon
-Cosmic Angels' Natsupoi & Saori Anou taking on Manami & Mika Iwata
Both are very good contests and are well worth a look. This edition of We are STARDOM!! is highly recommended as a result.
NXT
The Heritage Cup match was solid.
Dunne, Lee, and Joe had a little thing.
Axiom and Frazer defended the NXT Tag Team Titles in the main event against Chase U. This one is one of the best matches of the week and is our Tag Team TV Match of the Week!
DYNAMITE
Mone defended against Shida in our Women's TV Match of the Week!
Page and Lethal was solid stuff.
Jack Perry and Darby added some smoke.
Orange, Kyle, and Strong's 3-way was good shit.
Claudio and Okada. Face 2 Face.
The Acclaimed and The Bucks didn't land well for most people. Here, if you wanna decide for yourself.
Swerve and Yuta is the same situation.
If you like those last two, this episode is a must-see for you. If not, it's a good show that ends weaker than it needed to.
IMPACT!
This right here is not just the TNA Match of the Week, but it is also the People's TV Match of the Week. Nemeth put the TNA World Title on the line against the ace of the company, Josh Alexander, and the two put on a damn show for half an hour! Check this one out ASAP!!
The two Ultimate-X qualifiers were decent, too.
In all, this was one of the best episodes TNA has put out in a while. I think they fucked up bad at the beginning of the year, but the roster is doing what is has done for just about the entire time TNA/Impact(/GFW for a short while) has been a thing and they're making it better than it should be.
Here's a Nemeth vid TNA put out that's pretty sweet.
SMACKDOWN
Hayes and Andrade was pretty good.
This one was pretty damn good. It's the Street Profits and #DIY in a number one contenders match!
Wanna check out some Bloodline Wolfpac drama?
RAMPAGE
AEW-gun took on The Outrunners and Blade. A good Rampagey six-man if that's your vibe.
Cutting Edge Battle!!
The latest in Dragongate's modern half-hour program saw Masaaki Mochizuki and Mochizuki Jr. fucking each other up. The event that this one came from was called Aggressive Gate and we really must stress that this legit must-see! Once again, Gaora's DG program has brought fire.
This is our Episode of the Week!
COLLISION
Hologram continues to be treated like a star and I LOVE it.
Claudio and Lio was good TV all around.
FTR and The Acclaimed was good TV all around, too. That one was a number one contenders match.
