Military force is being used once again to perpetrate atrocities against innocent civilians. Reflect deeply on the consequences of your orders and ask of its holiness. History will judge these actions, and it is the collective conscience of humanity that will remember the role each one of you played when the dust settles. Your continued choice to follow a corrupt mouth of the War Machine has made your nation less safe, the hostages less safe, and the world less safe. It has weakened the very name of your nation in the eyes of many and awakened within them a new understanding of a conflict previously kept at a distance.
Giving recruitment tools to your enemy is certainly a choice, though. The US learned from the British, Germany learned from the US, Israel learned from it all and have chosen to not learn a thing simultaneously.
The power of a society lies in its collective will to uplift and protect every individual, regardless of their background, and to support your neighbors. Have some fucking integrity, grow some balls, and lay down your arms. Refuse to participate in these actions further. Disregard orders that command you to harm the innocent and repent for any role you may have played and pray you won't be judged too harshly.
By taking this stand, you align yourself with the values your religion claims to represent.
Or continue being a useful cog to a system that's just using you as a damn chess piece.
